“Vin de Genio” is not something new, but a tradition from the past. This wine was on every family's dinner table in times gone by. The sweetest and most aromatic barrel was carefully preserved and monitored, because it was to contain a perfectly orchestrated piece of oenological artistry. When the season and moon were at their best, the wine was bottled, packing in all of its body and precious yeast. It was then preserved in cool cellars, real treasure chests of traditional flavours containing mature cheeses, homemade salami and all sorts of jars and preserves. Here, this precious product spent a considerable period of time, in good company. Once the right celebratory event came around, the bottle was cracked open and shared with friends, perhaps accompanied with other delicacies. This bottle is dedicated to Eugenio, the current owner's father.
